Thank You For An Amazing 2022/2023 Season!
The 2022/2023 hockey season has officially come to a close and want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have achieved together.

First, and foremost, I want to thank all of the volunteers, coaches, trainer and managers who stepped up to ensure our players and their families had fun and learned lots along the way!  Without this group of very dedicated people, we wouldn't be able to execute the programming that the OCHL offered this season.  Thank you for all that you do!

This season marked our 75th year in offering grassroots hockey to players in Oshawa and its surrounding areas.  With that came new jerseys and weekly prizing.  And it was all capped off by our night with the Oshawa Generals where over 1300 players and their families took in a game and celebrated along with us.

Our tournaments were officially back!  In February, we hosted our annual Heritage Rostered Select tournament where we welcomed 42 teams from across Ontario.  And just last weekend, our newly named Bill Swindells March Classic took place with 38 teams joining in the fun.  Congratulations to all that participated!

We announced the partnership with the Ontario Tech Ridgeback men's hockey team.  This gave our players the opportunity to watch amazing university hockey, but also a chance to work directly with the Ridgebacks on the ice.  We look forward to seeing where this partnership will take us in the 2023/2024 season.

For several of our U18 players, this season marked the last time they will play minor hockey.  We wish them all the best and perhaps we will see them back and on the bench coaching in the near future.

Thank you to all of our players and their families for choosing the OCHL and we look forward to seeing you next season.  Please keep an eye out for registration announcements as spots fill up fast!

We will see you in the Fall!
