Durham Heading to Red Zone starting Monday November 23 @ 00:01
In preparation for ice times happening tonight and throughout the weekend.

We wanted to provide you with a talk track.  The same will be posted to our website and our Facebook page. As many of you are aware, Durham Region will move into the Red Zone as of 12:01am on Monday.

Programming will continue this weekend as planned.  Our main concern hasn't change and still is the safety of our families, volunteers and officials.

As we have no direction from out Facilities at this time we will be updating our protocols and will probably have to adjust our current plans regarding numbers on and in these Facilities.

We have reached out to the Facility managers asking them for directions and will adjust our programs to accommodate these new changes.

As information becomes available to us we will make every effort to get it out you    As such, please check back here for information on our Face Book Page.
A formal communication from our COVID office will be drafted and sent our this weekend with our next steps.

At that time, we hope to answer all of your questions and announce our plan moving forward.

OSHAWA CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME
Our location was originally built to be a flooring store and opened as Stradwicks in 1978. In the late 1980s ownership changed but the store remained the same. It was in 2008 that the store became part of the Carpet One family and changed its name to Oshawa Carpet One Floor & Home. We are family owned and operated with Guy and Michelle Pylypiw as owners and their two sons as co-owners. We are proud to sponsor the Oshawa Community Hockey League and the Oshawa Baseball organizations. Guy & Michelle have both served on our church boards and Michelle is a former member of 100 Women Who Care. DYLANS NO FRILLS
WHO WE ARE "We had to close the doors at 10:30 this morning and let people in as other people left." It was the kind of problem every store manager dreams of, especially on opening day. The first No Frills® prototype store had swung open its doors in East York, near Toronto. The reaction on the part of shoppers was enthusiastic, to say the least. "The rush never stopped," explained Loblaws manager Robert St. Jean, back in July 1978. "We're really excited about it... really excited!" The original No Frills® store was just that, no frills. No product advertising, no store displays, no meat counter, no clerks to bag your groceries, and you had to bring your own bags or pay 3 cents for each. "It doesn't bother me a bit," replied first day customer Frank Atlas when asked about bagging his own
