Purdy's Chocolatier

We're a Canadian chocolatier with a rich history. Our founder, Richard Carmon Purdy, started selling homemade chocolates in downtown Vancouver, Canada in 1907. After 100+ years of crafting fine chocolates, you get to know a thing or two about doing it right. At Purdys, everyone - from our chocolatiers to our in-shop chocolate connoisseurs - is always inspired to take you away from the ordinary. We source premium-quality ingredients from around the world, and choose local options whenever possible. We never compromise on quality, and you bet you can taste it. The Rooted Barber Experience was established in 2022 by Justin Rootham as a way to elevate his brand and continue to build community around the more male centric barber shop. Buiencelt from a passion for entrepreneurship and learning, The Rooted Barber Experience, has all the qualities of the classic barbershop experience. ×

Carpet One Oshawa

Our location was originally built to be a flooring store and opened as Stradwicks in 1978. In the late 1980s ownership changed but the store remained the same. It was in 2008 that the store became part of the Carpet One family and changed its name to Oshawa Carpet One Floor & Home. We are family owned and operated with Guy and Michelle Pylypiw as owners and their two sons as co-owners. We are proud to sponsor the Oshawa Community Hockey League and the Oshawa Baseball organizations. Guy & Michelle have both served on our church boards and Michelle is a former member of 100 Women Who Care.
