Purdy's Chocolatier

We're a Canadian chocolatier with a rich history. Our founder, Richard Carmon Purdy, started selling homemade chocolates in downtown Vancouver, Canada in 1907. After 100+ years of crafting fine chocolates, you get to know a thing or two about doing it right. At Purdys, everyone - from our chocolatiers to our in-shop chocolate connoisseurs - is always inspired to take you away from the ordinary. We source premium-quality ingredients from around the world, and choose local options whenever possible. We never compromise on quality, and you bet you can taste it. Our chocolates are made with sustainable cocoa. We pay a premium for sustainable cocoa to ensure our farmer partners and co-ops are supported by programs that improve their profit and the livelihoods of their families.×

Carpet One Oshawa

Our location was originally built to be a flooring store and opened as Stradwicks in 1978. In the late 1980s ownership changed but the store remained the same. It was in 2008 that the store became part of the Carpet One family and changed its name to Oshawa Carpet One Floor & Home. We are family owned and operated with Guy and Michelle Pylypiw as owners and their two sons as co-owners. We are proud to sponsor the Oshawa Community Hockey League and the Oshawa Baseball organizations. Guy & Michelle have both served on our church boards and Michelle is a former member of 100 Women Who Care. Jodee Trucking

Jodee Trucking has been in the trucking industry for almost three decades. Family owned and operated, Jodee Trucking began as a husband and wife operation that has since grown into a logistics company with a staff of over 30 full-time employees. Our company operates from limited facilities in the Markham area. The service suite includes both long-haul freight and local deliveries. Jodee Trucking is currently in the process of becoming certified in both CTPAT and PIP, which have set new and improved standards of safety and security. Aside from logistic services, Jodee Trucking continues to support and donate to many of their community's charities and special events while sponsoring some of the local sporting teams. ×
