U5 Development Program

Program Overview: The Oshawa Community Hockey League (OCHL) is proud to offer the U5 Development Program, specially designed for our youngest skaters. Our aim is to foster a love for the game by creating a positive and supportive environment.

Age for Participation: Boys and girls aged 2 to 5 years (turning 2 before December).

Cost:

  • Early Registration: $160.00 (before July 31, 2024)

  • Regular Registration: $210.00 (after July 31, 2024)

Program Details:

  • Ice Times: 1 ice time per week on Sundays.

  • Equipment: Participants receive a free jersey and socks.

  • Professional Photo Package: Includes a professional picture package to capture memorable moments.

  • End of Year Award: Every participant receives an end-of-year award to celebrate their progress.

Goalie Registration & Training

The Oshawa Community Hockey League (OCHL) offers a flat registration fee for goalies, aiming to make the position accessible and affordable while providing specialized training.

Cost:

  • U11 and U13 Goalies: $275.00

  • U15 and U18 Goalies: $250.00

Program Details:

  • Eligibility: Goalies must have played at least one season in net as part of an OMHA-sanctioned association and commit to playing full-time for the 2023/2024 season.

  • Training: Goalie training will be provided for U13 age groups and below during selected practices.
